Your Life’s Playlist

Recently, our 14-year-old son convinced me to get Spotify Premium. I must admit I was hesitant at first. Another subscription, a world of music at my fingertips . I hate to admit it, but I have loved it. Lacrae pushing me through my workouts, Frank Sinatra helping me create…..Worship songs flooding our house.

As I dove deeper into decades of music, I found myself letting, “Brown eyed girl” take me back to years of my dad singing to me on the porch waiting for the bus. Goo Goo Dolls had me riding in a car full of friends down a dirt path windows down music blasting. As each song played so did memories of the stages of the last 4 decades of my life. I was simply flooded with memories. It was then I felt the Holy Spirit nudge me and say, “What is your life’s playlist?” I began to think about music and how deep it stays in our memories how it can pull them out of the deepest depths of our brains. How my heavenly Father also loves music and worship. I began to ask myself, what does my playlist sound like? As he reflects on my life and my purpose is he flooded with praise and worship? Does he have seasons of the blues? Favorites that he plays on repeat over and over, Reminding him of times when we have been the closest.

“The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing. Zephaniah 3:17 ESV

As I was thinking about the things the song “Beautiful” by Phil Whickham began to play……..

I see your face in every sunrise

The Colors of the morning are in your I eyes

I see your power in the moon lit night

It’s all proclaiming who you are

You’re Beautiful

As much as I know this song is how we see God, part of it tells me its also how he sees us.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation. The Old has passed away, be hold, the new has come.” 2nd Corinthians 5:17

“Even as HE CHOSE US actually picked us out for himself as his own in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (concecreated set apart for Him) Blamesless in his sight even abover reproach, before Him in love Ephesians 1:4-5

” But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out into his wonderful light.” 1st Peter 2:9

Every sunrise, every chance we get to be his arms and feet to this forsaken world,

Eveytime we choose him

Everytime we say, ” yes Lord”

Everytime we say your beautiful he is saying it right back

Sometimes our view gets distorted, and our ears flooded with the playlists of how the world sees us stuck on repeat.

“For the Lord sees not as man sees; for the man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7B

When in when in reality all that matters is how God sees us. May my life’s playlist be always exalting always proclaiming how beautiful you ARE!

May his praise be ever on my lips. Life is really a love song of love for him and his Love for us,

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, that WHOSOEVER believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.”John 3:16

A life doomed for hell saved by his mighty grace. Even if it was just me or just you he would have done it. He would have given his life for just you or I alone. Just one life he would have done it. Let that sink in for a minute. He chose you. He chose me. He said you are worthy, set apart. Apart from him we have and are nothing. Glory to God! I thank you Father for choosing me. I thank you for allowing me to be redeemed. May I chose each day to live life in a way that shows others who you are and who I am IN YOU.

Never Stuck

Today as I was sitting on my back porch, I noticed two beautiful butterflies. They were stuck in my screened in porch as the door was open. One was frantically fluttering trying to find its way to get out and the other was at a complete standstill sub coming to life’s current situation. Over the course of this summer, I have found several dead butterflies on the ground on my porch. This morning was different. As I began to watch them the Holy Spirit reminded me of something a very dear friend recently said to me, “You are never stuck.”

Stuck defined according to Webster’s, is to adhere or cling to something. Or to become fixed or jammed in one place because of an obstruction. These butterflies could fly right out of the very same door they came in through. Instead, as they looked outside through the screen at the world, they knew they had two different reactions. One was in complete panic, freaking out over current circumstances. The other, well he had already sub come to the fact that he wasn’t going to be able to get out. He was dying and that was that.

As I sat there observing, I felt the Lord ask me, ” Do they not remember their own metamorphosis?” “They were once lowly caterpillars crawling on the ground. They are now beautiful creatures free to fly how and whenever they want. How many of my children are exactly the same.”

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new. ” 2 Corinthians 5:17. New creations transformed by the God of miracles the God that died and rose again.

Yet so many of us find ourselves feeling stuck, because of fear of circumstances, choices, because something or someone told us to stay there, or sometimes we just plain ole give up and think this is just the way it will be. The “I was born this way I will die this way” mentality. Where I am now is where I will always be. It’s time to realize you are never stuck.

Isaiah 43:18 says, “Do not remember the former things, or ponder on things of the past, listen carefully I am about to do a new thing, now it will spring forth. “

As I gently grabbed each butterfly and released them out of the very same door they came in through, I was reminded of how we are to let go and let God. To trust his hand over our life, his guidance and He will lead us to freedom every time. It takes surrender, submission, and knowing who you are. A changed creature made anew through the same God that created you. Through a situation or a season, you are never stuck unless of course you choose to be.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfector or our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross. ” Hebrews 12:1-2 NKJV

The Process

“Refinement,” according to Webster’s, is “the process of removing impurities or unwanted elements from a substance.”  Did you know that many things of value (oil, precious metals, etc.) have to go through this refinement process? Most of the time, when we look at a shiny piece of gold, we don’t think about where it came from or the many times it was put under the fire and skimmed from all its  impurities. We only think about how beautiful it is and how it shines. The refinement process always includes heat and the breakdown of molecules so that impurities or unwanted and unnecessary items can be removed.  Another example could be a diamond. Diamonds are so beautiful; they shine, they reflect light, and they are just simply amazing to look at. However, did you know that to get to this point, that diamond, which used to be carbon, had to go through immense heat and extreme pressure?

As I have been seeking the Lord and listening, we have been discussing the refinement process of life. Many times, He has to cleanse us of many impurities and unwanted elements of our lives so that we can be exactly who He designed us to be.  So many times during this process we want to quit or give up or condemn ourselves or try and change things or do what we think needs to happen.  Psalms 66:10: “For you, O God, have proved us; You have tried us as silver is tried, refined, and purified.”  As the Lord is refining and purifying, the heat and the pressures are strong but necessary so that, when we come out, we are clean and pure and able to let His light and His glory shine through us.

The process is hard, but the reward is so worth it! John 14:12-14: “I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things I do; and he will do even greater things than these because I go to the Father. 13And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father can be glorified and extolled in the Son. 14I will grant whatever you shall ask in My Name.”  You see, so many times we are exhausted and overwhelmed by the refinement process, because we go at it alone.  We pick up the reins again and try and fight and survive the fire in our own strength. The Lord said He would never leave us nor forsake us and that the Holy Spirit is always with us.  John 14:16: “And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter that He may remain with you forever.”  Hebrews 15:3a “He himself said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let you down.” Joshua 23:10:  “One man of you shall put to flight a thousand, for it is the Lord God who fights for you as he promised.” It’s time to let go and let God. When we decide to fully give it over to Him, it’s so much easier and better than anything we could ever do in our own strength.  Sometimes we just have to realize He is in control, and let Him hold us and be our strength and comfort during the process.

Another example of this necessary purifying process can be found in John 15: “I am the True Vine and my Father is the Vine dresser. Any branch in Me that doesn’t bear fruit He cuts away and he cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit. 3You are cleansed and pruned already because of the word which I have given you. Dwell in me and I will dwell in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit itself without abiding in the vine neither can you bear fruit if you don’t abide in Me. I am the Vine, you are the branches. Whoever, lives in Me and I in him bears much fruit. However, apart from me you can do nothing.”   It’s all about coming face to face with Jesus. Let him cleanse and purify. The Word of God has the ability to renew and take off the dead stuff and turn it into life.  Sometimes I wonder why we find this part so hard. If we think about the amount of faith we have in Jesus being our savior and what it took to believe in Him when we first did. This is really no different; it just requires simple faith and trust and complete confidence in Him. Letting him prune and purge away the impurities.  We can’t do it on our own. Sometimes, during the pressure and the refinement, fears, anger, and bitterness can arise to the top, but remember, they have to rise to be removed. It’s best to acknowledge that we need refinement and to allow God to remove them.  1 John 1:9: “If we admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”  During our refinement, as we are being cleansed or pruned, it’s so very important to keep our eyes on the Father and to allow him to shape and mold us.  He wants to pour so much into our lives, but we have to be ready vessels.   It’s a time that we need to remember to be quick to forgive and slow to offense.  Romans 8:1: “There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live and walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the spirit.”

Several months ago, the Lord revealed to me that I needed to let something go. This something was something that I had worked very hard at and become very successful in. I didn’t realize it at the time, but I had a lot of pride built into this particular thing.  I struggled, I argued, and I fought Him on it for over six months.  I went back and forth, and finally, I released it to Him. As soon as I let go and gave it to Him and let him strip me down and remove the impurities, the blessings have overflowed.  He has filled me with such a peace and joy that is unexplainable. I know that someone reading this needs to hear this part in particular.  Sometimes we may not see the “gold” that He is making us into, but it is so important to just let it go and let Him. Let Him guide you. Let Him LOVE you. Let Him pour out his power and glory on you. Let Him be your all-in-all. It’s time, Glory to God! Time to Let Go and Let GOD!! I promise you, it is worth it.

Romans 15:13: “May the God of your hope fill you with all JOY and PEACE in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

By His Grace,

Amanda

“Eli, Eli lama sabachthani?”

it-is-finished_1947_1155x768“My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?” Matthew 27:46

“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are You so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning?” Psalm 22:1

If you are anything like me, you hear news reports like the attacks in Brussels, and it just hurts your heart … the aching and pain for nations and people that are hurting so badly in a world that is so very lost. Immediately, we begin to pray and find strength in love, compassion, and helping one another out of the destruction.  As Easter has been approaching, I have been contemplating, and the Holy Spirit has been strongly guiding me in my words. I pray that these words are full of a message of grace and love, and they speak to you about what an awesome God we serve.

I started this blog with the words of our Savior, Jesus Christ.  He was brought to this earth and lived just like you or me, only to be crucified for our sins as a perfect and holy sacrifice. Oftentimes, when the world is faced with situations like the attacks in Brussels, people come to God and ask Him “Why?”  Why does He allow these things to happen? People often feel like they have been abandoned and wonder why He doesn’t step in and change things. For most of my life, I believed that the wrath of God caused major storms and catastrophes as a way of getting our attention.  I am not at all saying that we should not fear God, because the fact is He should be reverently feared and respected, as He is the ALMIGHTY SAVIOR. However, through my own journey this past year, I have found that the God I thought I knew isn’t exactly the God He is. He is a merciful, loving Father, full of grace and redemption and a love that our human minds will never fully understand.  You see, just as we grieve, so does He.

The Word of God says in John 10:10, “The thief (Satan) comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came so that they may have life and enjoy it and have it in abundance.”  Our Father doesn’t get our attention by loud, disruptive things.  These types of things come straight from the pits of Hell. They are meant to steal, kill, and destroy lives, which is how we know that they are direct attacks of Satan himself.

I am going to back up in John and tell you a little more about the Lord. John 10:2-4: “but He who enters by the door is the Shepherd of the sheep. The watchman opens the door for this man, and the sheep listen to His voice and heed it, and He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When He has brought them outside, He walks before them, because they KNOW HIS VOICE.”  In verse 9, He continues to say that He is the Door for the sheep, all others who came before were robbers or thieves, but the TRUE sheep didn’t listen to them.

11I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd risks and lays down His life for His sheep. 12But the hired servant, who is neither the shepherd nor the owner of the sheep, when he sees the wolf coming, deserts the flock and runs away, and the wolf chases them and snatches them and scatters the flock.  13The hired servant flees because he is serving for wages and isn’t concerned about the sheep.  14I AM the Good Shepherd; I know and recognize MY OWN and MY OWN KNOW AND RECOGNIZE ME.  15Even as the Father knows me, and I also know the Father – and I am giving my very own life and laying it down on behalf of the sheep.

Hallelujah!!  Glory to God!!

Here are some things to consider:

God’s voice: Stills you, leads you, reassures you, enlightens you, encourages you, comforts you, calms, and convicts you.

Satan’s voice:  rushes you, pushes you, frightens you, confuses you, discourages you, worries you, obsesses you, and condemns you.

Our Father wakes us is through His Word and the Holy Spirit. He can also use people such as preachers or prophets to warn us. When we fail to heed His warning and obey, we are leaving our houses unprotected, and the enemy is allowed to come in and cause havoc. God is never the author of evil or destruction. He is the author of life and blessings.  To receive it, we have to choose life and obey His Word. It’s our choice or free will.  God wants us to turn to Him before we experience destruction, not to be driven to Him through the destruction that comes as a result of disobedience.  Philippians 1:28, “And do not for a moment be frightened or intimidated in anything by your opponents and adversaries, for such will be a clear sign to them of their destruction, but OF YOUR DELIEVERANCE and SALVATION, and that FROM GOD!“  Glory to God!

Jesus Christ came to this world and lived and died so that you and I can overcome the enemy. It is through the power of His blood that we have been redeemed and washed clean.

12Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified and made us fit to share the portion, which is the inheritance of the saints in the Light.  13The Father has delivered us and drawn us to Himself out of the control and dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.  14In whom we have our redemption through His blood, (which means) the forgiveness of our sins. (Colossians 1:12-14)

When the enemy tries to use his power over our spirit, soul, or body, we are to call for the witness. THE BLOOD TESTIFIES that CHRIST set us FREE from the curse when He himself was made a curse for us! His precious blood paid it all so that we could live. AMEN!

There is no valley too low, no sin too dark or deep that the precious blood of Jesus can’t wash clean.  I ask you today, do you know your Shepherd? Do you know His voice? Are you washed in the blood, redeemed by His precious sacrifice made at Calvary? You see, He doesn’t care about your past. He doesn’t condemn you. He welcomes you with open arms and a life of freedom and redemption. 1 John 7: “But if we really are living and walking in the Light, as He is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses (removes) us from ALL sin and guilt.”  1 John 9: “If we admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”  Salvation isn’t based on your being “Holy.”  It is based on heart belief and mouth confession … not just words … a commitment, a total reliance and trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. You see, if you are just saying the words or going through the motions, you are just making noise. You must believe in your heart and say with your mouth. The outward profession must be there, along with a heart full of faith. In the words of Billye Brimm, “This understanding doesn’t set you free to sin, but FREE FROM sin.”  If you have never been set free and would like to start living your life for Christ, I would urge you to take a minute and pray. “Father, I thank you for making me righteous by faith. I believe that you sent your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for my sins and that He rose on the third day so that I may have life and live more abundantly. I give you all the glory, God. Thank you for giving me right standing with you as a free gift. Help guide me to comprehend these truths and apply them to my daily life. I want to live my life for you. By faith, I receive these truths from your Word into my heart. Thank you, and I love you, Father!!”

If you are already one of his sheep but have confusion about whether it is His voice you have been hearing, say this, “I am HIS sheep. I know His voice. I have the anointing of the Holy one, and I follow Him. I will do the things the Lord is leading me to do and allow that anointing to illuminate my hearing. Praise you, Father!”

We started this post with the words of our Lord and Savior as He was hanging on the cross dying for our sins, and I will end it that way as well. John 19:30: “When Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, ‘It is finished.’ And He bowed His head and gave up his spirit.” GLORY TO GOD!!! It is finished. The price has been paid. We have been redeemed and set free! Hallelujah! Thank you, Father! We encourage you to enjoy your Easter time with your families but to most importantly thank our redeemer, Jesus Christ, for the price He paid at Calvary!

In His love, Happy Easter!

Do we Love one another?

  • As I was preparing to continue our personal testimony with a post about healing, the Holy Spirit was guiding me in a different direction. So, for now, I will put the healing post on hold and write what He has been laying on my heart. My Father has been guiding me deeper and pushing me further into his Word to find the true definition of love.  According to Webster, love (as a noun) is defined as “an intense feeling of deep affection to (someone).”  When we look at what the Word says about love, it means God’s love in us. Reading this really got me thinking, What is love … God’s kind of love?  I have found myself questioning whether I am loving people the way God does. Do I respond in love? In a love that endures and believes the best of people?  As I found myself thinking on these things, my answer to this was No. So began my quest and journey of loving like Jesus. Remember those WWJD bracelets? Well, for me, I have adapted What Would Jesus Do? to How Would Jesus Love? … HWJL.  I ask myself this before I respond to anything. Y’all, it’s not easy! My flesh doesn’t want to love like Jesus, but what I have found is that, as I let my spirit view the world and love like Jesus, the stress, anger, and bitterness melt away. I find my compassion and love for others (as well as for myself) deepening. Let’s look at what God’s Word says about love.

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I can speak in tongues of men and of angels, but have not love as inspired by God’s love in us and for us, I am only a noisy gong or clanging symbol. 2. And if I have prophetic powers and understand all the secret truths and mysteries and possess all knowledge, and if I have FAITH so that I can move mountains, but have not love I AM NOTHING. 3. Even if I give out all I have to the poor, and surrender my body to be burned, but have not love I GAIN NOTHING.

You see, without His love, we are nothing but noise, faith that can’t move, and dead works. Faith WILL NOT work WITHOUT LOVE!

Galatians 5:6 For in Christ Jesus, neither circumcised nor uncircumcised counts for anything, but only faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love.

Nothing we do will ever profit us unless it is done in God’s love. How does the world know we are Christians?  By God’s love demonstrated through us.  As a Christian, it is my job to love you like Jesus would.

John 13:34-35 says, I give you a new commandment: that you should love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you should love one another.  By this all men know that you are MY disciples, if you love one another (if you keep showing love among yourselves.)

Are we putting others first? Are we, as Christians, putting others first, letting the spirit love the way Jesus would, or are we letting our flesh rule in condemnation, judgment, and selfishness.  Let’s go back to 1 Corinthians 13:4-5.

Love endures long and is patient and kind, love never is envious, nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, doesn’t display itself haughtily. It isn’t conceited, it isn’t rude and it doesn’t act unbecomingly. Love (GOD’s love in us) doesn’t insist in its own rights or in its own way, for it isn’t self-seeking, it’s not touchy or fretful or resentful: IT TAKES NO ACCOUNT OF THE EVIL DONE TO IT. (In other words, it pays no attention to a suffered wrong.)

I don’t know about you, but when I read this definition of love, I thought Oh man, have I got some work to do!  It’s hard to hear.  I have to let go of anger, resentment, grudges, and keeping tally marks of what so-and-so has done to me?!  If I have a chart and am keeping score, then I do not love in God’s love. I can’t believe the best of every person! Some people believe the worst just to have a reason to condemn others.  But y’all, my Father doesn’t condemn; therefore, neither should I.  As you begin to walk closer to Him and seek His love, it begins to dominate you, forgiveness will come easier, and you will pay no attention to suffered wrongs. Y’all, we are ALL sinners.  We are imperfect people in an imperfect world. All the more reason why we need the love of our heavenly Father to love us and to show His love through us, His hands and feet. If we don’t forgive, then we can’t walk in love. You see, unforgiveness, as it builds up, turns to bitterness, and bitterness can ruin a person mentally, emotionally, and physically. The only way to walk in victory, freedom, and love is to forgive and to keep no record of wrong. This includes our own selves. So many times we can forgive others, but we continue to condemn ourselves for things we have done in the past, but I am telling you, it is time to let GO and let GOD!  The true freedom that we all seek, that we all need, has already been bought and paid for by his GRACE, LOVE, and REDEMPTION.

For God so GREATLY loved and dearly prized the world that whoever believes in (trusts, clings to, relies on Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. For God didn’t send the Son into the world in order to judge (to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him. John 3:16-17

In a world so lost and searching for something, I encourage you to love one another not just in an Oh yeah, I love ya kind of way, I mean in an Am I loving like Jesus love them? kind of way.  Some of you reading this are hurting and searching. I encourage you to seek Him. We will never find any person, any pill, any drink, or any addiction to cover up the hurt and pain or the void in our lives. The only thing that will ever make us whole again is God’s perfect love which is found at the foot of the Cross.  Through His love and redemption He gave through the life of his Son, Jesus Christ. Some of you reading this haven’t heard the words “I love you” in a long time, so I am telling you now: YOU are LOVED.

    Until next time-

    WE LOVE YOU!!

Finding Faith and Freedom- the beginning

As I am writing these words to you today I sit in awe. In awe of a Savior so full of grace and mercy! This last year of our life we have been on a journey of finding faith and freedom. I don’t mean freedom like as in Americans I mean freedom from bondage, chains breaking, gospel truth kind of freedom. The ONLY Freedom that can be found through Jesus Christ. “And you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you Free!! ” John 8:32. The Lord has lead us to begin to share our testimonies with you and to share with you as we are still on the journey of fulfilling God’s perfect plan for our lives. We are so excited to share it all with you as it unfolds! For today I am going to start by sharing a bit of the beginning of this journey of true faith and freedom.  Glory to God I am so excited about the start of this I just want to sit here and tell it all to you right now! Many of you know how last year I battled and illness that was new to me and no one could figure out the cause. During this sickness, I was of course drawing closer to God and through two sisters in Christ the Lord revealed somethings to me about him and his very nature.  I of course doubted the things that they were revealing to me about what I thought relationship with Christ and the Holy Spirit was. Of Course now I know I was confused about religion versus relationship. Or about what I had been taught by the Church and what the word of God says.  So naturally I told God that if he wanted me to believe in what they were telling me then he would have to show me in his word.  John 1:1 says,” In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word WAS GOD.” Do you want to hear from God? Get in the word He is the word, the word is living, it his truth and what does it say about the truth, it shall set you free! (John 8:32) So of course the Lord directed me to Romans Chapter 8. I will give you a few verses that really made an impact on me. Romans 8:5-6″ For those who are according to the flesh and are controlled by its unholy desires set there minds on those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the SPIRIT and are controlled by the desires set their minds on and seek those things which gratify the (Holy) Spirit. The Mind of the flesh is death( sickness and disease can be added here) and all the miseries that arise from sin. But the mind of the Holy spirit is life and PEACE- both now and forever! ” 8:26-27   ” So too the Holy Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness, for we do not know what prayer to offer it worthily as we ought, but the HIMSELF goes to meet our supplication and pleads on our behalf with unspeakable yearning and groanings too deep for utterance. And he who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the Spirit, because the spirit intercedes and pleads in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God’s will.”  You see both of my sisters in Christ has had the same conversation with me about the Holy Spirit. Two different people and two different times and yet one same exact message for me. Coincidence I think not! Its called a divine appointment!  They both spoke to me about the Holy Spirit and if I had been filled. ” Filled of course I replied you get that when you become a Christian, right?? At least that what I thought, that’s what I had been taught. I knew the holy spirit lived inside of me, but what I didn’t know is I had not been baptized in the spirit and fully yielded to his control of my life. At salvation we are spirit sealed and receive eternal life. ” Therefore if any person is a new the old has passed away, Behold the fresh and new has Come!” 2 Corinthians 2:17 Being baptized in the Holy Spirit is a different experience Acts 8:12-17 Is a story about the Samaritans becoming 1. saved 2. being baptized in the spirit. “And they came down and prayed for them that the Samaritans might receive the Holy Spirit.” So with all of this evidence and direction I naturally got baptized in the Holy Spirit! Hallelujah and my life hasn’t been the same. This was the first step our finding faith and freedom! I once read that you could do more in one year of a spirit filled live than you could in 50 years without him. We are living proof of this! Of course naturally when you do anything with the word the enemy starts firing at full force. However, with the Holy Spirit leading you and speaking utterances for you then you press on and overcome. More on this next post! For now I leave you with a Kari Jobe song,
